In the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Taiwan (Formosa)…

On June 1, 2024, in collaboration with Hungkuang University’s Department of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management and the 21-Day VegFun Group, our Association members in Taichung, Taiwan (Formosa), organized the Second Annual Soy Whole Foods Vegan Culinary Creativity Competition at Hungkuang University. The event brought together 24 talented college and high school teams, who impressed guests with innovative and flavorful vegan dishes featuring whole foods and plant-based proteins.

We thank all the organizers, including our Association members, judges, contestants, and everyone who contributed to making this Vegan Culinary Creativity Competition event possible. By highlighting the health benefits and delicious flavors of the vegan diet, you are making a positive difference for our planet and the voiceless animal-people. We wish you abundant success in all your vegan initiatives, in Divine Grace.

We are also grateful to Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) for teaching us the correct way to live as human beings. As our planet approaches the brink of uncontrolled climate change, kindness toward all beings remains our most viable solution, as elaborated by our Most Belove Master from a conference held in Nonthaburi, Thailand, in 2009.

“I want to plead with everybody, with everyone in power, with every media agency, every reporter, everyone that has power, everyone that has some power, everyone who is an ordinary citizen, please be vegan to save our planet. Everything else will go along fine. We will have time to implement other solutions, which are not as urgent as stopping the killing of animal-people for meat, because it is meat that is threatening our planet’s existence. It is meat that causes the global warming. So, we have to stop the cause of global warming and the cause of destruction to our planet. That is the meat industry. Meat, fish, dairy, these are the killers of our planet, and the killers of our children, the killers of our future generation.”
