Our story begins with Jesper Johansson, the playful, spoiled, and lazy son of the Postmaster General, who repeatedly fails at the Royal Postal Academy. Frustrated, General Johansson sends Jesper to establish a working postal office in Smeerensburg, a remote town near the Arctic Circle. Jesper must deliver 6,000 letters within a year if he wants to return home or risk losing the family fortune.
