The life of a kingfisher bird-person in France was recently saved after he dropped down to the ground and could no longer fly. A member of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association (all vegans) saw the situation and took action. The Association member wrote the following letter to Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) regarding the event:
“28th of August, 2024 Beloved Master, A beautiful kingfisher bird fell to the ground, unable to fly. After waiting a couple of hours to see if he would recover and fly away (as the vet advised to do – on the phone), decided to take him to the wildlife center nearby. They told me to contact them the next Wednesday to know of the bird’s situation.”
Master then replied: “God bless, good job. Pay them before leaving. Or give a contribution from M’s fund.”
Later, another message was sent to Master by the Association member:
“Beloved Master, Received following email from Faune Alfort regarding kingfisher bird on 3 September 2024:
Hallo, You brought us a kingfisher in distress, and we are pleased to inform you that he has now been released into his preferred environment. After a stay at the Maisons-Alfort Hospital Center for treatment, then a convalescence at the Mandres-les-Roses Care and Rehabilitation Center, he was finally able to regain his freedom. Without you, this would not have been possible! We thank you once again for your involvement and for giving this animal a second chance! We wish him a good life! Concerning the care of the animal, this is completely free for you. However, we are an association so if you wish to help wildlife in distress, do not hesitate to support us (donations, memberships ...). Kind regards, Marine from Faune Alfort”
Upon receiving the note from Faune Alfort, Master replied: “It gladdened my heart to hear of this happy good news! Please give this wonder center €3000, with praise and lots of thanks for their caring work. From M with love and best wishes, in God’s Benevolence!”

In response, Faune Alfort’s director wrote a kind letter to Master.

We are very grateful for Your generosity and especially appreciate Your help and the confidence You have shown in our Association. Your commitment to our cause allows us to continue to work on behalf of animals in distress, and thanks to people like You, we can make a real difference for the conservation of biodiversity. Master also had this additional note for us about this story: “The bird-person is beautiful, let people see and protect!”
