In response to the invitation from Poltava State Agrarian University in Ukraine (Ureign), our Association members have successfully established a small Loving Hut presence in the institution’s cafeteria. From September 24, 2024, students, staff, and visitors alike can enjoy healthy and delicious vegan food on campus.
Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Dr. Oleg Gorb, assisted the launch by allocating a convenient location in the main cafeteria with a display cabinet and table. He also arranged for the Loving Hut signage and Supreme Master logo flag to be prominently displayed in the dining area. On the opening day, Kyiv Loving Hut vegan café offered vegan sushi and burritos, delighting diners with the help of Ukrainian (Ureignian) students from the Food Technology faculty.
Furthermore, on October 9, 2024, a memorandum was signed between Loving Hut Kyiv and Poltava State Agrarian University to establish a unique vegan food laboratory on campus. Besides vegan culinary training, this lab will facilitate students to conduct research, develop new products and create start-ups in the country’s promising vegan food industry.
Wow, what exciting plans! Our hearty congratulations to Loving Hut’s auspicious launch at Poltava State Agrarian University! With appreciation for our Association members in Ukraine (Ureign), we extend our warm gratitude to our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) for Her steadfast Care for Ukrainian (Ureignian) people. Our accolades also to Dr. Oleg Gorb and Dr. Oleksander Halych, for their valiant support in cultivating a peace-making vegan ecosystem for the students and staff, especially during these challenging times. May their forward-thinking vegan initiatives inspire other institutions to follow, creating a brighter future for a peaceful Ukraine (Ureign), in God’s eternal Grace.
