Q(f): There was another elderly practitioner. She was over 80 years old. Once, she left her body and went to Heaven. It was so beautiful up there that she didn’t want to come down. At that time, some Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were up there. One of the Bodhisattvas said to her, “You must go down now. The Earthly people are in great suffering. It’s not your time to live here.” Hearing that, she was so frustrated that she broke down in tears. Seeing the beauty of Heaven, she was really reluctant to go down. She said, “I am so old, yet You ask me to go down. What can I do?” The Bodhisattva up there said, “You must go down. You still have a mission to save 10,000 people.”
Master: Wow.
Q(f): She was so frustrated that she cried while thinking, “I am so old. I am over 80 years old and I can’t walk very well. How can I save other people?” She kept on crying out of frustration.
Then another person nearby said, “Hey, if you can’t save them one by one, then you can find a person with last name Wan (meaning 10,000) and save him.” Oh, hearing those words, she looked at that person who looked very benevolent and lovely. She then said, “OK, OK. I will go down to look for a person with last name Wan and save him.”
After that, she came down immediately and really found a person whose last name is Wan (meaning 10,000). He was running a meat restaurant. She converted him and he closed the meat restaurant. Then the Bodhisattvas notified her that she would die at 8 o’clock, Monday morning. She gathered all her family members including her daughters and sons.
The son-in-law who ran a meat restaurant was the last one to arrive. Then he found his mother-in-law meditating on a platform. She was meditating with her legs folded. He saw his mother-in-law and noticed that on her wisdom eye there was a shining golden lotus flower. The flower radiated waves of light.) Wow. (He said, “Mother always tells me not to run the meat restaurant. There is such a thing as Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I believe it now. I will close the restaurant tomorrow.” So the next day, another meat restaurant was closed. Then the elderly practitioner passed away very peacefully.
Master: Wow.
Q(f): There is a third elderly practitioner. He is in his 70s. Once, while he was sitting in bed, his soul traveled to the Western Paradise suddenly. He was outside of the “Eight Merits of Water” but couldn’t go in. He saw that the Western Paradise was very beautiful. So he asked the Bodhisattva beside him, “Hey, can You let me go in to have a look?” The Bodhisattva said, “No, I can’t. You are not vegan, so you can’t go in.” He said, “Vegan? I am not vegan. It’s very difficult to be vegan.” Another person next to him said, “It’s easy to be vegan. It’s not difficult. Go. It’s very easy to be vegan.”
He told me later that the person who said, “It’s easy to be vegan,” was also You, Master. The 80-year-old practitioner also said that the person who told her to look for someone with last name Wan was You, Master. You told her so up there.
Master: OK. (They were Your transcendental bodies.) OK. Now you know why I am so busy. I am not just busy here. I am busy everywhere. It’s so tiring. OK. Very good.
Vegan, because we want Heaven.
