European Union (EU)’s Humanitarian Air Bridge delivers vital aid to Afghanistan.
The EU recently sent a consignment of over 28 metric tons of crucial medical supplies to Kabul to assist with the urgent healthcare crisis in the country. This was the EU’s third such flight since August 2021 and it was funded by its member states. The delivery will allow the World Health Organization (WHO) and its humanitarian partners to provide essential health care items to and perform surgeries for those in need. Originally launched in response to the transport restrictions created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the EU’s Humanitarian Air Bridge flights are designed to enable the supplying of urgent relief support and the sending of essential staff when needed. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Scientific model suggests economic losses resulting from extreme climate events could interact and amplify.
A study by scientists at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany found that severe weather events that occur simultaneously or in close succession, even if in different parts of the world, create greater damaging economic effects to global supply chains than the sum of the initial events. This is due to overlapping and intensifying ripple effects, and wealthier economies could be more heavily affected. The study analyzed economic models consisting of 1.8 million trade relations across 7,000 regions worldwide. One of the authors of the study, Dr. Anders Levermann, also stated: “If we do not rapidly reduce greenhouse gases, this will cost us – even more than we’ve expected so far.” Thank you, PIK researchers, for evaluating and reporting on the detrimental economic impacts of climate change. British researchers create vegan glitter.
Scientists from the University of Cambridge have created a biodegradable, vegan and non-toxic form of glitter made from cellulose nanocrystals that reflect light in a specific manner. This is similar to how the brightest colors in nature are produced, such as in peacock-people feathers and butterfly-persons. Ordinary glitter does not decompose readily, pollutes waterways and soil and is energy-intensive to produce. The researchers envision that the new material could be used in the cosmetic industry to replace the unsustainable plastic glitter and mineral effect pigments currently utilized. The team also managed to create the glitter at an industrial scale, which will help it move faster into commercial production. Way to go, scientists from the University of Cambridge, on your sparkling achievement of making an Earth-friendly version of glitter. Colombia commits to significant land protection initiative.
The President of Colombia, His Excellency Iván Duque Márquez, recently announced 30% of the country's land will be protected by 2022, which is eight years earlier than originally scheduled. He stated that the nation is putting “the concept of nature positive in our minds and hearts.” About 50% of Colombia is covered with tropical rainforests and it has more than half of the world's high-altitude ecosystems. Protecting such a large amount of land and rainforest will help to safeguard the nation’s freshwater supplies, shield indigenous communities and people from the animal kingdom, sequester carbon dioxide to reduce climate change, and more. Football players in United States rescue driver in need.
The football players of Goddard High School in Roswell, New Mexico, USA, are winning accolades after leaping into action to help in the wake of a vehicle accident. The Goddard Rockets team was on their bus driving to a football game when a car in front of them lost control and turned over several times, ending upside down. The driver was trapped but communicated that he did not seem to have major injuries. The coaches first tried on their own to help free the man. They were then quickly joined by the players in a team effort that successfully flip the car right side up, allowing the driver to exit the vehicle. Head coach Chris White later stated how proud he was of this group of young men. What great teamwork, Goddard football squad! The Food Frontier’s 2020 State of the Industry report found that in the 2019-2020 period, the nation’s plant-based industry doubled its revenue. Australian supermarkets now stock 250 meat alternative products. Also, a recent survey by consumer advocacy group CHOICE of over 1,000 Australians found that 29% of the participants are consuming dairy-free milk a minimum of once a week, and 11% of non-vegans are contemplating becoming vegan in the next five years. Also, a University of Adelaide study found that almost 20% of Australians are decreasing their meat intake. Congratulations, Australia, on your fast-moving shift to vegan food. Mustang-person rescued from drought finds happy life.
Mila is one of only two surviving foal-persons from almost 200 feral horse-people who sadly succumbed to the effects of a drought on the land of the Navajo Nation in Arizona, USA, in May 2018. The orphaned one was taken to Healing Hearts Animal Rescue, also in Arizona, where she was nursed by a surrogate horse-person mom named Mystery. Luckily, Mila was adopted by a local rescuer, Macy Zylstra, who fell in love with this little person from the horse kingdom after seeing her picture. Mila is an amazing horse-person companion with a big personality who loves socializing and sleeping, accompanied by huge snores, and brings joy to all around her. She has a best horse-person friend named Maya, also a rescue. A standing ovation, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Macy Zylstra, for wholeheartedly helping a baby horse-person to flourish. May all our animal-people friends be cherished and protected, in God’s immeasurable kindness.

Respected and Beloved Master, During meditation in recent years, I’ve often seen disasters— fires, floods, windstorms, and famines— occur all over the world. Adults and children struck by disaster panicked, crying and fleeing from their devastated homes to save their lives. Explosions erupted across the globe, from one region to the next, from one building to another, all so abruptly that people hardly had time to escape before they were swallowed by the fire. As disasters continued to strike people, Master’s power has manifested into brave and mighty gigantic lion-people and dragon-people, guarding the stricken areas and helping to disperse various perilous energies. The world is in critical danger. Everything would have disappeared if not for Master’s compassionate protection and Blessings.
One day, during meditation, I was lifted up by a sound stream with golden light to a realm where Master appeared as Jesus Christ and then as the enlightened Indian Master Baba Sawan Singh. To my surprise, I looked exactly like the golden and radiant Master, both of us wearing a golden robe and radiating light all over. “You’ve already seen the top,” the beautiful Master told me in an extremely loving tone while holding my hand. The golden arch there was glorious and dazzlingly bright, as were all the souls there. Their facial features and body shapes could not be seen clearly. There was only brilliant light shining far and wide. No words of praise would be enough. I respect and love You so much. You’ve been gentle and merciful in accepting this foolish disciple.
I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. You’re so Divine, yet I understand so little about You. However, I am already in awe of what I know. Master is so magnificent and extraordinary that we wouldn’t be able to fully understand You in this lifetime. How fortunate and happy I am to be able to write to the Highest God, the Most High in the whole Universe, to convey my gratitude! Thank You, admirable and compassionate Master. Thank You!
