Syrian refugees in Jordan receive assistance from United States.
The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has further contributed US$22 million to the World Food Programme (WFP), to help Syrian refugees in Jordan. The funding will be used by the WFP to provide food vouchers and monthly cash assistance for about 465,000 displaced Syrian people. This additional donation brings USAID’s total support for Jordan to US$89 million so far this year, which is almost one-third of the finances needed to carry out the UN’s 2022 program. WFP Jordan has expressed their appreciation for the timely assistance and praised USAID’s generous contributions over the past ten years. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Peruvian archaeologists find mummies from hundreds of years ago.
Archaeologists in the Peruvian capital of Lima recently discovered eight mummified remains of people, dating back almost five centuries. The bodies were found at Lima’s Park of Legends, located on the coast of central Peru, and are thought to be from the Spanish colonial era in the 16th century. Different monuments from the same site have also been unearthed that date back to 2,000 years ago. Officials from the government said the area was inhabited by Ychsma and Lima people prior to the Incas. In August 2022, three other mummies were found in the Park, including one holding a wooden cross. I have a tip for you today on how to ensure your swimsuit stays in tip-top condition this season. It is important you wash it after each wearing. Submerge the suit in cool water for 30 minutes— this will get rid of most of the chemicals, salt, sand and body oil that can deteriorate the fabric. After this, drain your sink and refill it with more cool water. Next, add a teaspoon (5 milliliters) or less of a gentle liquid laundry detergent. Turn your swimsuit inside out and soak it in this solution to help remove any chlorine or salt. Swish it back and forth for a few minutes and then thoroughly rinse. Finally, lay your suit out flat to dry in an area without direct sunlight. When you are done using your swimsuit for the season, store it in a fabric garment bag. Solar ship sails in Berlin in new green parcel delivery initiative.
In partnership with Berlin-based port operator BEHALA and shipping company Solarwaterworld AG, Germany’s international delivery firm Deutsche Post DHL launched its pilot project, featuring a solar-powered ship for delivering packages across the Spree River. The postal ship, that sails daily between the Südhafen Spandau and Westhafen harbors, uses solar panels installed on its rooftop to collect eco-friendly energy which is stored in a battery. On a sunny day, the carbon-neutral ship can operate for an unlimited amount of time; otherwise, it can travel six to eight hours on a full battery and reach speeds of up to 12 kilometers per hour. This project is part of Deutsche Post DHL’s green sustainability strategy, which includes the company’s current electric fleets. Nice work, Deutsche Post DHL, BEHALA, and Solarwaterworld AG. UNESCO and Google support Ukrainian (Ureignian) teachers to deliver distance learning.
Since the unjustified Russian invasion of Ukraine (Ureign), more than 40% of Ukrainian (Ureignian) schools began their 2022 academic year online, as over 2,500 education institutions have either been damaged or destroyed. To facilitate remote learning, in October 2022, UNESCO, Google, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ureign) began distributing a total of 50,000 computers to Ukrainian (Ureignian) teachers throughout the country. Google will also provide teachers and schools with online training, to contribute to their professional development, and other education software, that ensure Ukrainian (Ureignian) youngsters receive the optimum online learning experience. Additionally, UNESCO has continued to assist the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ureign) with its 25 Global Education Coalition partners, to support a variety of educational initiatives. Bravo, UNESCO and Google, for helping to ensure Ukrainian (Ureignian) children are not left behind in their learning. Kind-hearted Indian man improves life of impoverished elderly woman.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Tarun Mishra can be seen helping to change a 75-year-young woman’s life through his Help Drive Foundation. Tarun started by talking with her at a household waste site, after he had observed the senior collecting discarded fabric. The elder revealed that she sold rags to earn money. After drinking tea together, the two of them visited the women’s home and then traveled to shops to purchase items for her to start a new life selling vegetables. The young philanthropist bought the would-be seller a cart, weighing machine and fresh produce to get her started, with the video finishing after a ritual and blessing of her new stall. Devoted dog-person saves boy’s life through her acutely sensitive nose.
Seven-year-old Thomas French of Essex in the United Kingdom suffers from type 1 diabetes. Having the condition, however, has brought an amazing new friend into his life: a two-year-old spaniel named Poppy, who has been specially trained to be aware of changes in blood sugar levels. The boy and dog-person quickly became friends. One evening, although Thomas seemed fine, Poppy gave clear indications that something was wrong. Indeed, a short time later, Thomas became dangerously hypoglycemic. Thankfully, he was able to receive treatment from ambulance medics and hospital staff, returning home after he was stabilized. Mom, Jennifer, credits Poppy’s sensitive nose to working better than the technical equipment and thus saving her son’s life. We are so happy you have recovered Thomas French. Dear Master, More than 15 years ago, I was not yet aware nor did I know what veganism was. But God showed me in amazing ways. One day while watching videos on the internet, suddenly a video appeared which, at first, I didn’t know what it was about, but I clicked on it and saw a horrible scene of a terrorist group that was beheading a man, which shocked me enormously. Immediately after that video, there appeared a video of the same practice, but with two pig-persons. While they were choking on their own blood, they were making a horrible sound which was exactly the same sound that the human person was making in that video before.
That moment everything changed for me, Master. It made me realize these two beings were the same and died in the same horrible way. So, after this, I stopped buying pork and cow meat. The only thing that I was still buying once a week was fish, but that also ended soon. One day, I went with my husband to the fish shop. While standing in line, out of nowhere, he said, “Hey, look, dead fish...” I looked at the fish-person laying there with his eyes open. It was as if a veil was taken from my eyes in a second. All that time I never realized I was eating a dead being. It must have been God’s Power to open my eyes to what I was eating. I know God truly will help everyone if they are longing for the truth, to wake up and free themselves from this illusion. I am very grateful to Master for how God step-by-step helped me to find the truth a long time before I was even initiated. Love You immensely & forever, Dear God.
