In today’s news, Germany provides more development aid to Jordan, scientists find immune system’s T-cells react to COVID-19 six months post-infection, sobriety tags give Welsh courts new option to ensure offenders’ alcohol abstinence, Minneapolis, United States to construct tiny houses for homeless, kind young barber in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, provides free haircuts to underprivileged, major British bakery chain and vegan cheese manufacturer release new plant-based pastry, and Galápagos penguin and flightless cormorant populations on Galápagos Islands soar.

Germany provides further development assistance to Jordan.

Germany has pledged €394.3 million in grants, soft loans, and technical assistance to support development programs in Jordan in the coming years. Projects will cover important sectors, including water, sustainable energy, sanitation, education, job training and the environment. The aid will also bolster host communities under the Jordan Response Plan for the Syrian Crisis and help endeavors related to handling the COVID-19 pandemic. Jordanian ministries will partner with Germany’s KfW Development Bank and German Agency for International Cooperation to carry out the initiatives. Germany is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate. Our sincere appreciation, Germany, for your continued support of Jordan’s people. May the kind Jordanians be blessed to greet ever brighter tomorrows, in Allah’s benediction.

Scientists discover active immune response six months after COVID-19 infection.

A preliminary study by scientists from the United Kingdom Coronavirus Immunology Consortium and Public Health England has revealed that the human immune system’s T-cells still respond to COVID-19 six months post-infection. T-cells disable human cells that have been infected with the virus, thus limiting its ability to reproduce and spread. Antibodies produced by the body’s defenses appear about 10 days after infection, and adhere to active virus particles to stop them, but reduce by 50% in two months. The investigation involved taking samples from 100 British healthcare workers with mild, moderate or no symptoms after contracting COVID-19 in March or April 2020. Thank you, United Kingdom Coronavirus Immunology Consortium and Public Health England researchers, for helping us to better understand our long-term immunity to COVID-19. May your findings help others to quickly develop an effective vaccine, in God’s mercy.

Up next, sobriety tags give Welsh courts new option to ensure offenders’ alcohol abstinence. We’ll take a moment to thank the airport security officers who work day and night to screen passengers as well as baggage and cargo to ensure the safety of flights. We will return with more foresighted news after this constructive message here on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, beautiful friends, I’m Sombo the vegan Sloth. You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! I have a useful tip for you today. Please only use suitable material within a fireplace. Utilize dry wood, as wood containing a high level of moisture will generate more smoke. This can lead to creosote, a harmful chemical that irritates skin and eyes, accumulating on your chimney walls. Items that are hazardous to use as fuel include cardboard, plastics, and painted or treated wood. Burning colored paper can raise the flames’ temperature and potentially impair the flue, cause a chimney fire and/or release toxic fumes into the air. Thank you for tuning in. And love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Abstinence orders and sobriety tags offer Welsh courts a new tool.

In Wales, the United Kingdom, courts can now mandate those who have committed alcohol-fueled crimes to avoid the substance for up to 120 days. New technology in the form of sobriety tags, which are worn on the ankle, helps the courts implement the requirement. A sensor monitors the wearer’s perspiration every 30 minutes and alerts authorities if alcohol has been consumed. Successful trials showed that offenders remained alcohol-free on more than 97% of the days monitored; tag wearers also reported a positive impact on their well-being and behavior, giving them new hope on their journey to be alcohol-free. The measure will be implemented in England next year. Kudos, Welsh courts, for using this novel method to help change lives for the better. May the innovation make society safer and aid many to transition to sober lives, in Heaven’s grace.

Minneapolis, United States, to build tiny house community for homeless.

The Minneapolis City Council has approved the US$2 million Indoor Villages plan to build 100 tiny homes inside an unused warehouse. The units will provide occupants with security and warmth during the cold winter months. Led by Avivo, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit dedicated to a multi-level approach to serving people, the initiative will provide residents with substance abuse and mental health treatment as well as aid in finding employment and permanent housing within the community. The two-year pilot project has the goal of being operational by the end of this year. Our gratitude, Minneapolis City Council and Avivo, for your caring actions to ensure all the people in your municipality have a warm and safe home. May Indoor Villages be a success as we move into a new era where the vulnerable are always cherished, in the love of the Providence.

Young Aulacese, also known as Vietnamese, barber provides free hairstyling to disadvantaged individuals.

In a large southern city in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, a man wearing a clown costume rides his bicycle around offering free haircuts to underprivileged and homeless individuals. Carrying a self-created tool kit with his equipment, professional barber Nguyễn Văn Pháp embarks on his mission of love four days a week between 8 pm and 11 pm, after his normal working hours. Pháp said, “Hairdressing as a job only allows me to live within my means. While not much, it enables me to help others, which makes life more meaningful.” Our big applause, Nguyễn Văn Pháp, for your charitable work that brings smiles to others and makes their lives more colorful and happy. May the Heavens forever take care of you and the gentle citizens of Âu Lạc (Vietnam).

Coming up, study reveals record population rise of unique birds on the Galápagos Islands. We are going to pause for a moment to feed vegan treats to the street dogs in our neighborhood. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more exceptional news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Elevating News for a Graceful World.

Major British bakery launches vegan pastry with award-winning plant-based cheese.

Cooplands bakery chain in the United Kingdom has partnered with vegan cheese manufacturer Violife to produce the Cheeze and Vegetable Bake. The vegan treat contains Violife’s EPIC Mature Cheddar, a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) UK’s Vegan Food Awards 2020 winner, as well as a flaky pastry, vegetables and a creamy sauce. It is available at over 160 Cooplands outlets across the North of England. Cooplands also sells vegan steak bakes and sausage rolls. In addition, all of its bread is 100% animal-free. Way to go, Cooplands and Violife, for your collaboration to bring this delicious vegan product to the dignified British people. May all food retailers now take steps to meet the ever-rising demand for plant-based foods, in God’s upliftment.

Unique birds on Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands see record population rise.

A study by the Galápagos National Park and international nonprofit Charles Darwin Foundation has revealed that the flightless cormorant and Galápagos penguin population on the Galápagos Islands has seen a record climb in numbers. The increase is attributed to favorable La Niña weather conditions and a decline in tourism due to COVID-19. The number of penguins on the islands, the only penguins globally living on the equator, rose to the highest level since 2006, with 1,940 seen in 2020. The flightless cormorants reached a new milestone since recordkeeping began in 1977, with 2,220 documented. Thank you, Galápagos National Park and Charles Darwin Foundation, for the encouraging news regarding the burgeoning numbers of beautiful birds on the Galápagos Islands. In Divine peace, we pray their populations will continue to flourish in safety and good health.

Nourish your spirit with laughter and adopt a positive mindset. Let’s take a moment for the joke of the day entitled, “First Wedding Visit.”

Little Emily was at her first wedding and watched the entire ceremony. When it was over, she asked her mother:

“Mom, why did the bride change her mind?”

“What do you mean, dear?”

“Well, she went down the aisle with one man and came back with another one.”

And now we have a heartline from Jargalma in Mongolia:

Dear Most Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, I am a Mongolian mother and a wife. Every day I wake up early in the morning to prepare vegan breakfast for my family. I always thank and pray for the happy life we have in the Grace, Blessing and Love of our Most Beloved Master. It gives happiness and peace to me to see that our family members are having vegan breakfast made with love and then going to do their jobs wholeheartedly and enthusiastically. People around me are all blessed and awakened to their own real nature by vegan food. We are helping the unfortunate ones and praying sincerely for every being on this Earth. It is really wonderful. It is hard to express all the appreciation from my humble heart in this letter. Every day Your Abundant Love radiates in the hearts of every single Mongolian. I cannot describe how much I appreciate Your devotion to every single noble being. Thank You, Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai. Jargalma from Mongolia

Joyous Jargalma, Thank you for writing to us. We are touched by the simplicity of your words and rejoice in knowing that delicious vegan meals are earnestly prepared by you for your loved ones. We are also grateful to Master, whose love and sacrifice for all beings is beyond measure. Let us all join hands, and together with Master, meditate and pray for World Vegan on Thursdays and Sundays. May you and treasure- embedded Mongolia forever be in Buddha’s Loving care, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master also says: “Selfless Jargalma, if all could experience what you feel daily, humans would fully understand the power of love that flows from making compassionate choices in life, then a vegan world would surely be here. May Buddha’s infinite radiance shower you and sparkling Mongolia with blessings.”
